You have a story and that is what I want to capture for you to cherish and marvel about. I delight in the way events, moments, instances are born, flourish and then dissipate into the tendrils of memory…

That’s me and my wife over there off to the right. As you can see, I love taking photos of things that capture my fancy. My wife tolerates this and enjoys helping with the photography! So, it’s a win-win-win for us and our valued friends and clients.

Come and give us a ring and let us know how we can capture your special moments.

Very sincerely,

Rachel

A few weeks ago, I worked with Rachel to develop looks for her portfolio. Rachel is from Ireland and she has a beautiful lilt to her voice! What’s interesting is that her voice took on more of a Canadian accent through the shoot.

Here are a few photos from the photo shoot. Please enjoy.

Jasen And Family – Photo Shoot

the-bit - Friday, 23 July 2010 07:45

A few months ago, I donated one of my portrait photography packages for a fundraiser event for an MS event. The winner of this package was a friend of mine, Jasen!

Jasen is a talented very photographer himself and has a very wonderful family. One of the issues of being the photographer in the family is that most of family shots don’t involve you. So it was with great pleasure to be a photographer for him and his photogenic family.

We spent a couple of hours in Inglewood walking with Jasen, his wife and his adorable children. We had a great time and got some lovely images.

Please enjoy.

N & V – Hindu Wedding In Calgary

the-bit - Wednesday, 21 July 2010 07:45

Last year, I had the privilege of meeting N&V when I took their engagement photos and became their wedding photographer. This young couple’s Sangeet and Mehndi event was two days prior to the big day.

As with all Indian weddings, there is a lot of color, food and fond memories and I did my best to capture it all. It was a wonderful day beginning at 7am and ending at midnight. Laughter, tears, song and dance…!

N & V, you have my hearty congratulations on your most blessed day. Peace to you and yours!

Please enjoy the photos!

Support The Kidney Foundation And Get A Free Portrait Session…

the-bit - Tuesday, 20 July 2010 09:00

Throughout the year, I think of ways that I can give back to the community. Over the past year, I have contributed photography packages to a variety of causes and events. This year, one of my packages was offered to the Alberta Wilderness Association’s Climb And Run for Wilderness.

It was a great success and I loved being part of such a wonderful group of people! It just feels right to donate and share my time and efforts helping others and it is a bit addictive.

In continuing this spirit, I have decided to give away 5 free Portrait Photography Sessions for you!

“How?” you ask… well, read on…

Calgary Stampede Photos 2010

the-bit - Monday, 19 July 2010 10:31

Yee Haw!

Yesterday, I posted a short video about the Calgary Stampede Fireworks and today I’d like to share with you a few photos that I took while at the Stampede.

I usually try to make it out to the Stampede at least every 2-3 years. This year was a special time because it was my wife’s first time at the Stampede. That also meant first time eating Those Mini Donuts, visiting the Big 4 Building and so on.
